Nate Jacob is an accomplished kachina carver. His work has been growing in popularity very quickly. His unique carving and painting styles make his Kachinas different and unique. Nate learned how to carve from Cecil Calnimptewa. He started getting into the art in 1985. Nate enjoys the process of carving the kachina more than painting or sanding it because he loves trying to make sure that it will match the vision of the Kachina he already has in mind. Nate is from the Tobacco Clan of the Hopi Tribe. He was born on July 21, 1959 in Second Mesa, Arizona.
